Fire Safety Training: Lawes Marsh offers a whole range of fire safety training courses, which can be specifically tailored to meet individual client needs.

Normally, any specific fire safety training needs will be identified through the risk assessment process. For information regarding our training courses please see the fire safety training or health & safety training pages.

Typically for organisations with over 50 employees and premises in excess of 20,000 sq ft and those with multiple buildings.

This service for larger organisations is the same as for the medium sized businesses, although in this case all the optional extras are included. From our experience we have found that this is the most suitable option for the larger companies, so when we carry out this service for you we will provide the following:

  • FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT - Comprehensive Risk Assessment report in full compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, including best practice advice on asset and property protection.
  • EXCEL BASED REMEDIAL ACTION PLAN - Lawes Marsh will compile a 'Remedial Action Plan' for you in Microsoft Excel format, which you will receive as a hard copy within the report and on a CD ROM. The CD ROM enables you to load the plan onto your computer and, following some basic instructions, to interrogate the plan and update it as progress is made. This is a very popular and useful facility, particularly for those with multiple buildings, as each building is given a unique reference code.
  • DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - Digital photos of significant deficiencies are also available and can prove to be very useful in illustrating particular risks. The photographs will also be linked to an electronic 'Remedial Action Plan' spreadsheet if that particular option is also chosen.
  • FIRE SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT - This will be Company specific and will outline the organisations commitment to fire safety. The policy statement should be signed by the 'Responsible Person' for the premises, brought to the attention of all staff and displayed in a prominent position.
  • FIRE SAFETY RECORD KEEPING LOG BOOK - The log book provides basic day to day fire safety management information and provides a useful facility for recording all routine activity, such as testing of fire alarms, extinguishers, training etc.
